According to new a report from Taiwan’s Economic Daily News, Apple’s iPhone 6 may come as early as August this year. The report cites anonymous sources from Apple’s supply chain, who claim that the 4.7-inch variant of the iPhone 6 will be released in August, while the larger 5.5-inch model will launch a month later in September.
Previous reports have suggested that the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 would launch in September, with the 5.5-inch iPhone being delayed a couple months after that. This would also match Apple’s 3-year tradition of launching new iPhones every September. However, the company may be looking to shake things up this year, releasing the iPhone a little earlier.
Nonetheless, we are only months away from finding out exactly what Apple has in store for us. The iPhone 6 is rumored to be similar in design to the iPad, with a thinner profile, rounded edges, and of course the larger screen.
