LS Squares adds beautiful, sleek tiles to your lock screen

One of the aspects of iOS that I get bored with the most is the lock screen, even with jailbreaking – it's nice to switch it up every now and then. For those who feel the same, we've got an awesome new jailbreak theme for you, LS Squares. This theme adds four tiles to your device lock screen with some useful information, that of weather, temperature, date, and of course the time.

After downloading LS Squares from Cydia, you'll need to head over to WinterBoard to activate it. The first thing I noticed is how much it looks like Windows Phone. Normally I'd avoid something like this, but the layout and simplistic design makes this theme hard to avoid. Furthermore, it works perfect with your other lock screen themes and tweak, including Atom:

There are a couple of things that I don't like about this theme, which takes away from the beauty. The first in foremost is the way notifications are handled. The lock screen notifications are the same as stock iOS, so they over lap the tiles. Hopefully the developer will address this in a future update. The same goes for the music controls.

While it doesn't look good, I don't think it's worth ignoring LS Squares over. To check it out head over to Cydia to install it for free, via the ModMyi repo. If you do check it out, make sure you have Lockscreen Clock Hide.
