Future iPhones To Take ‘Super-Resolution’ Photos Using Optical Image Stabilization

A new patent application by Apple was published today, showing off a new method of producing “super-resolution” images using optical image stabilization (OIS). This new technology would allow future iPhones to take images with higher resolutions than what the camera hardware is limited to.

iPhone 5s Gets Crushed By 40,000 Lbs Of Force [Video]

If you’ve been keeping up with the smartphone world lately, you’ve probably already heard about the up and coming smartphone maker, One Plus. The new company has already had quite some controversy surrounding them since they first announced their first flagship phone, the One Plus One.ZZ

One Plus held a “Smash the Past” contest where people applied to destroy their current smartphones in exchange for a One Plus One. 100 contestants were chosen, getting access to the first 100 One Plus Ones for only $1.

Check out Dbrand’s entry video of a poor iPhone 5s being crushed by 40,000 lbs of force. RIP…

New Mock-Ups Show Off iPhone 6 In Space Grey

The last couple of months have been filled with exciting iPhone 6 rumors and mock-ups. Most of the recent renders we’ve seen suggest that the next generation iPhone will have a larger screen and rounded corners. Well, the new photos we have for you today are no different…

iPhone 6 Rumored To Be 6mm Thick, Is That Too Thin?

Schemantics supposedly meant for case makers of the iPhone 6 have 'leaked'. Now we absolutely no idea whether or no these are legit so just enjoy using your imagination for a moment and pretending they're the real deal, besides who knows, they really could be. Check out the next page for another image released from a seperate rumor factory and my take on them. With the power button being moved to the side of the device, and the lack of the dual flash option, plus the size to handle a 4.7" screen, it's hard to tell you what we are looking at.

iOS 8 Concept Video Brings Rumors To Life

The folks over at TechRadar have put together an interesting little video of what they think the new iOS 8 may look like. The video shows off rumored new apps like Preview, TextEdit, Tips and more. They also mention that the new iOS may be “perfectly tailored for the iPhone 6.” Unfortunately, the iPhone 6 mockup used in the video is missing a home button on the bottom of the device, and while I actually prefer it that way, it is highly unlikely that Apple will get rid of its new TouchID button.

Thus, you should probably take the concept with a grain of salt. Check it out and let us know what you think:

What a 4.7-inch iPhone 6 Would Look Like Next To Today’s Top Android Phones

Apple’s next iPhone has been rumored to come in two different sizes: one with a 4.7-inch screen and the other with a larger 5.5-inch screen. While there are some people who love the current iPhone’s size, there’s no question about it – the industry is moving towards larger devices. At this point, every major Android manufacturer’s flagship phone has a screen size of 4.7-inches or more. Thus, it is only a matter of time before Apple jumps into the “phablet” market.

RadioShack Offers iPhone 5s For Only $99 On Contract

RadioShack has just announced that it will be dropping the price of the 16GB iPhone 5s to just $99 with a two-year contract from AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint starting today. What’s even more exciting is that customers can trade in older phones to cover the price of their new purchase.

The company did not mention how long the promotion would last but if you’re looking to get your hands on the latest iPhone, this may be the best option!

Let us know if you make the jump!
