Google unveils new Hangouts messaging application

The search giant has announced an all new Hangouts app. Doing away with Google Talk and Google+ Messenger, this new service will combine all these and more into one unified, cross-platform application. EA and Google announce great new plans for mobile gaming

Today Google is holding their I/O developer conference, where they have just announced a new gaming service. Essentially, it is or can be looked at as, Google's answer to Apple's Game Center, bringing with it leader boards, game achievements, and even multiplayer and cloud support. It gets better – Google also announced that this new service, titled Google Play Game Services, is coming to iOS. In other news, the famous gaming company Electronic Arts has confirmed that their Frostbite gaming engine will be going mobile, available on iOS and Android.

Before iOS and Android took over the mobile phone world, BlackBerry was the king of smartphones. While the company has almost become irrelevant today, it was once one of the most innovative in the world.

The company has also announced that its beloved BBM messaging platform will be coming to iOS and Android in the coming months.
